The Beausejour Senior Hockey League announced its annual award finalists on January 29, 2026, as teams across New Brunswick and Nova Scotia prepared for the start of the playoffs. The announcement recognizes the most outstanding athletes in the league ahead of the quarterfinals, which begin on January 30.

The Most Valuable Player finalists are Bryce Milson (Miramichi Northmen), Vincent Deslauriers (Elsipogtog Hawks) and Eric Faille (Dalhousie Marauders). Those nominations reflect each player’s impact on his club during the 2025–26 regular season.

The league also released separate finalist lists for other honours, including the Top Goaltender, Top Forward and Top Defence categories. Fans can find additional discussion and analysis on the BSHL Unofficial Podcast.

The quarterfinals start on January 30, 2026, with three best-of-seven series scheduled: Bouctouche at Elsipogtog, Fredericton at Miramichi, and Amherst at Dalhousie (multiple games scheduled through early February). The BSHL is widely regarded in regional coverage and reference guides as a competitive senior circuit that often features former university and professional players returning to their home communities.

Local sports coverage from outlets such as the Telegraph-Journal will follow the teams’ progress through the playoffs. The winners of the individual awards will be confirmed later in the postseason as the league finalizes voting and award announcements.
