Assiniboine College in Brandon, Manitoba, has confirmed its 2026 Career Fair will take place on March 19, 2026, after restoring its online registration portal for local employers. The event gives businesses a chance to meet face‑to‑face with students and graduates looking for work in fields such as healthcare, trades and agriculture.
The college recently fixed its website portal, allowing companies to once again reserve a spot at the Victoria Avenue East campus. Employers who want to hire new talent can book a recruitment booth through the college website to prepare for the afternoon event, which runs from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Note: this year there is a $150 registration fee and registration is open until March 6, 2026.
This year’s fair is part of the school’s 65th‑anniversary celebrations, which include awarding 65 tuition credits of $1,000 each (totaling $65,000) to learners throughout the year. Assiniboine College has said those milestone promotions have increased interest in recruitment and enrolment activities in 2026.
The fair is part of the college’s Industry and Student Connections programming to help fill roles in high‑demand sectors such as healthcare and trades. Danielle Adriaansen, Vice‑President, Enrolment, has noted that students are eager to find jobs that help address labour shortages across the province.
