The Ste. Anne Markets in Ste. Anne, Manitoba, will kick off the 2026 season on Saturday, May 23, with new weekend dates designed to bring more visitors into the community.
Organizers have opened applications for local sellers and are holding a public meeting on February 18 at Club Jovial (157 Central Ave) to talk about the upcoming year. This meeting gives residents and vendors a chance to see the new layout and learn about the activities planned for the summer.
The Town of Ste. Anne is moving the event to Saturdays to help it grow into a larger destination for the region. The new timing is meant to help local farmers and artists reach more shoppers and take advantage of recent provincial investment and newly improved walking and biking infrastructure in town.
Anyone who wants to sell items like fresh produce or handmade crafts can apply through the town’s recreation portal or by email. Organizers list steannesummermarket@gmail.com as an application address; questions may also be directed to the Town’s Recreation Services office at rec@steanne.ca or 204-422-5293. Each market day will offer different food and activities to encourage people to visit the town throughout the season.
