The Sidney Museum in Sidney, British Columbia, is hosting special family activities from Saturday, February 14, to Monday, February 16, 2026. The weekend event marks the 20th anniversary of the museum’s popular annual LEGO exhibition.
During the long weekend, children can take part in a scavenger hunt to find hidden LEGO minifigures or enter a contest to guess the number of bricks. LEGO Certified Professional Robin Sather will also perform a live build of a giant birthday cake made of LEGO DUPLO blocks.
Admission to the museum is by donation to ensure the holiday weekend remains affordable for all families. These activities and the 2026 exhibition are sponsored by Peninsula Co-op.
The museum is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. throughout the weekend. Local organizers say the event helps bring people to the downtown area to support shops and restaurants during the winter.
