The Black Gold Pro Rodeo is returning to Leduc, Alberta, from May 28 to May 31, 2026, bringing four days of professional competition and family activities to the community. Organized by the Leduc Black Gold Pro Rodeo & Exhibition Association, the event will take place at the Leduc Recreation Centre.

The weekend features four professional rodeo performances, a trade fair for local vendors, and a carnival midway. According to the official ticket site, advance tickets for the rodeo performances and a Saturday night cabaret dance are available for $35.

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, the Black Gold Parade will travel along 50 Street starting at 10 a.m., which will cause temporary road closures in the downtown area. Because the carnival rides are set up in the main parking lot of the recreation centre, visitors are asked to use the overflow parking area located directly east of the building.

The schedule also includes the Rodeo of Smiles, which is a specialized carnival held in the Aspen Custom Trailers Arena for children with special needs. This long-running tradition attracts thousands of visitors to the city and is managed by a local volunteer-run non-profit group.
