Residents in Port Colborne, Ontario, will be able to see large firework displays from their own backyards this summer following a February 17, 2026, announcement by the Welland Jackfish regarding the return of their Firework SuperShows.
The stadium is located about 13 kilometres away from Port Colborne, making the high-altitude shows bright enough for local families to enjoy from a distance. These events are held during home games and may lead to more traffic on Saturday nights along Highway 58 and Highway 140.
The baseball club, which won the league championship in both 2023 and 2025, plans to put single-game tickets on sale starting March 2, 2026. Details regarding these sales and other team guidelines are available on the Welland Jackfish website.
According to the team’s social media page on Facebook, the organization refers to its events as “Niagara’s Greatest Show.” In past years, the team has welcomed more than 54,000 fans to the ballpark, which helped bring nearly $2 million into the regional economy.
