On February 18, 2026, the Neepawa Training Centre in Neepawa, Manitoba, cancelled classes and limited access to the building due to a winter storm forecast. This decision affects students, staff, and anyone with facility bookings at the campus for the day.

The training centre is located at 239 Mill St and serves as a local hub for programs like nursing and trades training. According to Assiniboine College, a campus closure means all regular business operations and events are suspended until the site can safely re-open.

The winter weather caused other disruptions in the community, including the cancellation of all school buses for the Beautiful Plains School Division. While the buses were not running, the division kept the actual school buildings open for the day.

In the surrounding region, the Mountain View School Division also cancelled its rural bus routes because of the current weather and the forecast. Local residents are encouraged to contact the college directly or check for official alerts for the latest instructions before traveling.
