Police are looking for a man known to visit Port Alberni, British Columbia, who is wanted for stealing trucks and ramming an officer’s vehicle. An arrest warrant was issued for 30-year-old Craig James Hannon following a confrontation on February 12, 2026.
The Oceanside RCMP reported that Hannon used a stolen white Ford F-350 to ram an unmarked police vehicle at least six times in the Whiskey Creek area. The suspect then escaped into the woods and was later seen leaving as a passenger in another vehicle.
Hannon is known to specifically target Ford F-250 and F-350 pickup trucks from the early 2000s. The truck used to ram the officer was originally reported stolen from Saanich on February 6, 2026.
The suspect faces several charges, including possession of stolen property, wearing a disguise during a crime, and assault or threatening a police officer with a weapon. Residents are advised not to approach the suspect but to call the police immediately if he is spotted.
