The Peace Region Energy Show returns to Evergreen Park in Grande Prairie, Alberta, on May 13 and 14, 2026, to showcase the latest in energy technology and equipment. This two-day event is the largest gathering of energy professionals in the area, offering a space for local businesses and workers to connect with industry leaders. Attendees can see both traditional oil and gas displays and new developments in renewable energy, such as hydrogen and geothermal power.
Co-organized by the Grande Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce and the Grande Prairie Petroleum Association, the show features more than 400 exhibitors. Visitors can explore displays both inside the TARA Centre and across the large outdoor grounds at the park. The exhibition allows local contractors and job seekers to meet directly with suppliers and see new machinery in person.
Admission to the trade show is free for all visitors, though people are usually asked to register before they arrive at the gates. Beyond the trade floor, the event serves as a place where residents can learn about the different types of energy production happening across Western Canada. This event has been a part of the community for over 30 years and continues to support the regional economy.
Local residents should prepare for busier roads and higher demand for hotel rooms during the two-day event. Increased daytime traffic is expected along Highway 40 and near the park grounds as thousands of visitors travel to the exhibition.
