The second annual Aurora Pride Festival is returning to the Aurora Town Square in Ontario on Sunday, May 31, 2026. This community event brings residents together for an afternoon of live music and activities to celebrate diversity and inclusion.
The festival is a joint effort organized by the Aurora Community Band and the Borealis Big Band. These local groups are running the event in partnership with the Town of Aurora and York Pride.
The celebration starts with an opening ceremony at 1:15 p.m., followed by a performance from the Borealis Big Band at 2 p.m. Between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., visitors can participate in various Pride-themed games and activities before the Aurora Community Band takes the stage for a final performance at 4 p.m.
While the festival is open to the public, anyone wishing to attend the band performances must have a ticket. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., which is an earlier start than the first festival held on May 31, 2025.
