The Thunder Bay Police Service is asking for the public’s help to find 27-year-old Daniel George, who was last seen on March 7, 2026, in Thunder Bay, Ontario. Officers are looking for any information that could lead to his safe return to his family and community.
George is described as an Indigenous male who is five feet nine inches tall and weighs around 160 pounds. He has brown eyes and short dark brown hair that is shaved on both sides of his head.
Police have shared specific details to help residents recognize him, including a chipped front tooth. He also has a distinct burn scar located on the top of one of his wrists.
Anyone with information regarding his location is urged to contact the police at (807) 684-1200. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers to assist the police in their search.
This report comes as the city continues to see high rates of missing person cases compared to other major Canadian cities. The police service currently employs 255 sworn officers and 140 civilian members to serve the city and the nearby Municipality of Oliver Paipoonge.
