Residents in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, should prepare for a change in weather as snow is expected to arrive this weekend. According to Environment Canada, a weather system will move into the area around midday on Saturday, March 14, 2026.

Wind speeds are predicted to reach 30 kilometres per hour, with gusts as high as 50 kilometres per hour by Saturday afternoon. These conditions may cause blowing snow and could make it harder for drivers to see clearly on local roads.
