The Town of Aurora, Ontario, is asking residents to help tidy up local parks and trails during the annual Spring Community Cleanup on April 25, 2026. The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. to remove litter and debris that built up over the winter months.
Participants will receive cleanup kits to help them do the job safely and effectively. These kits include essential supplies such as gloves, garbage bags, and safety vests provided by the town.
High school students can earn community service hours by participating in the four-hour event. This is a popular way for local youth to meet their graduation requirements while helping to keep the community clean.
Residents who want to take part must sign up by April 24, 2026. Registration can be completed online through the Town of Aurora website.
The municipal government will coordinate the pickup of all collected trash once the cleanup is finished. This yearly event is a key part of the town’s effort to maintain its public spaces for the upcoming summer season.
