Extreme Mudfest is coming back to Dawson Creek, British Columbia, from July 3 to July 5, 2026. The three-day event will take place at the Aasen family ranch in nearby Pouce Coupe, featuring a mix of live music and extreme motor racing. This year marks the third consecutive time the festival has been held in the region.
Canadian rock band Big Wreck and punk group GOB are set to headline the musical performances. Big Wreck will visit the community as part of their current cross-country tour that supports their most recent album. The event is marketed as the largest mud and music festival in the country.
According to Extreme Mudfest, the weekend will feature several types of racing, including mega trucks, mud drags, and rock crawlers. The festival grounds at 187 Riverside Road will also provide on-site camping, food vendors, and a kids zone for families. Organizers recently brought the show to an international audience in Abu Dhabi during December 2025 before returning to northern British Columbia.
The festival was founded in 2015 by Billie Jo Aasen, who describes the event as a way to celebrate small-town Canadian culture. Her family-run production team manages the operations, with her father assisting on the ranch where the racing takes place.
Tickets for the July 2026 event are now available for purchase during a pre-sale period. Prices for the passes range from $46 to $694 depending on the type of access and camping options selected by attendees.
