Synergy.AG Yorkton has been named the Business of the Year for the 2025-2026 season by the Yorkton Minor Hockey Association. The award recognizes the company’s commitment to local youth sports through tournament sponsorships, jersey sponsorship, and the donation of pucks.
The announcement was shared by the organization on April 15, 2026. This recognition highlights businesses that provide significant support to the hockey program, which serves players between the ages of 4 and 17 across various divisions.
Synergy.AG is a 100% Western Canadian owned chain of agricultural retail locations. The Yorkton branch, located on Highway 9 South, has been operating since 2018. The company is part of a broader network of locations across Western Canada that specialize in seed genetics, crop protection, and other farming services.
The Business of the Year award is a long-standing tradition for the minor hockey association, which aims to celebrate community partners. Previous recipients of the honor include businesses such as Dairy Queen.
Yorkton Minor Hockey operates out of its facility on Prystai Way and continues to provide programming for local youth through its affiliation with Hockey Canada and Hockey Saskatchewan.
