The Tecumseh Leisure Pool at Lacasse Park will open for the 2026 summer season on May 31, providing residents with access to outdoor swimming through September 7.
Located at 590 Lacasse Boulevard, the facility features a 25-metre lap pool with shallow and deep ends, a waterslide, a wade pool, and various spray features. The Town of Tecumseh manages the site, where all lifeguards and instructors are trained and certified through the Lifesaving Society.
Throughout the season, poolgoers can participate in programs including Tot Time, Adult Lengths, Aquafit, and Family Swim sessions. Admission fees vary by program, with costs set at $5 for Tot Time, Aquafit, and Adult Length sessions. Family Swim admission is $4 per person or $12.50 for a family of up to five people, with an additional $2.25 charge for those using the waterslide.
To ensure safety, children aged 6 and under must be within arm’s reach of a responsible person who is at least 16 years old and in the water in swim attire. One adult can supervise up to two children, or up to four children if they are wearing lifejackets.
The pool will be closed for maintenance on several dates: all day on July 25, after 3:30 p.m. on August 5, all day from August 6 through August 9, and after 3:30 p.m. on September 7.
