Families with students entering Grade 9 this fall are invited to visit Charles Spencer High School in Grande Prairie for an open house on Wednesday, April 29, 2026. The event, which runs from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., provides an opportunity for students and parents to tour the facility, meet the administration team, and learn more about the transition to high school.
Located at 20 Knowledge Way within the Community Knowledge Campus, the school serves approximately 1,100 students from Grades 9 through 12. During the session, families can explore various educational offerings, including French Immersion, Academy Athletics, and Dual Credit opportunities. The school primarily serves students living in Mission Heights, Pinnacle Ridge, O’Brien Lake, Kensington, Country Club Estates, and Countryside South, as well as those coming from feeder schools such as École Montrose, Derek Taylor Public School, Aspen Grove School, and Isabel Campbell School.
Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is currently open for all new students. Families who reside outside of the school’s designated attendance area may still apply for a boundary exemption by submitting a request form, with decisions on these applications expected by June 2026. The school, part of the Grande Prairie Public School Division, is led by Principal Jason Wall and the administration team.
The first day of classes for the upcoming academic year has not yet been confirmed by the school division.
