artsPlace Canmore will present a four-show summer comedy series in Canmore, Alberta, running from June through August 2026 and presented in partnership with Blake Brewhouse & Distillery at 810 Bow Valley Trail.
The lineup includes Todd Ness with Jesse Gettis on June 19, Conner Christmas with Scottie Grinton on July 17, a special edition featuring David Nihill on August 4, and Danny Martinello with Jarvis Zawatsky on August 21. Tickets are set at $25 for regular shows ($21.25 for members) and $39 for the David Nihill special ($33.15 for members).
Scott Dumas, the local comedian who started the venue’s Friday Night Comedy series in January 2016, will host the shows. The series continues a multi-year run of stand-up nights at artsPlace, which opened on September 24, 2015 at 950 8 Avenue in Canmore, Alberta.
David Nihill is billed as a higher-profile act for the August 4 special; he is a Dublin-born comedian who won the San Francisco Comedy Competition and has been featured on TED, NPR, the Netflix is a Joke Festival and RTE’s Late Late Show.
