The Yorkton Arts Council has launched ticket sales for its 2026-27 season, bringing seven performances to local stages from October through April. Residents can now buy tickets and explore show details through the council’s website.
The season opens October 6, 2026, with Keith Alessi and his show ‘Tomatoes Tried to Kill Me But Banjos Saved My Life.’ Other performers include singer-songwriter Kellie Loder on October 22, Indigenous folk duo Burnstick on November 27, historical music ensemble Ménestrel with Vincent Lauzer on February 4, 2027, vocal group Windborne on March 19, 2027, and the reunited Johner Brothers country act on April 9, 2027. A final show by folk group The Fugitives on April 26 rounds out the season.
Performances split between two venues: St. Andrew’s United Church and the Anne Portnuff Theatre at Yorkton Regional High School. Single tickets range from $5 for children under 12 to $35 for adults and seniors. A full season package costs $200 for adults and $90 for students. Patrons can also build their own series of three or more shows for a 15 percent discount.
In a separate notice, the council warned that fraudulent emails are targeting vendors for the Sunflower Art and Craft Market. The council stressed that it only accepts booth fees and applications through its official website. The market runs September 11 and 12, 2026, at the Gallagher Centre, with registration still open.
