The Kinsmen Club of Coaldale is bringing a new kind of roar to southern Alberta this summer, trading demolition derbies for high-flying motorcycle stunts at the Motorcycle Mayhem festival on July 25, 2026, at DieselR in Lethbridge.
Headlining the event is the internationally recognized Della Crew, the world’s first all-female Harley-Davidson stunt team. Founded in 2018 in Nanaimo, B.C., the team is led by Krista Verhiel, the first Canadian woman to wheelie and scrape a Harley Davidson. They will be joined by special guest riders, delivering stunt performances throughout the day, along with an amateur burnout competition for local riders.
Tickets are $20 for adults, while children 12 and under get in free. Gates open at 2 p.m., and the full day of entertainment is designed to be a family-friendly event. Proceeds from the festival will support the Kinsmen Club of Coaldale and its community funding efforts, which have been serving the area since 1950.
For decades, the club was known for its “Carnage in Coaldale” event, a demolition derby and mud bog that started in 2009 and drew large crowds each year. The shift to a motorcycle-focused festival marks a new chapter, with the club partnering with DieselR Corp, a diesel performance shop in Lethbridge, to host the event. The move is expected to draw riders and families from across the region to a venue already known in the truck and performance community.
Longtime supporters like Badlands Harley-Davidson, the Town of Coaldale, and other local businesses continue to back the club’s fundraising, which has contributed to health research and community projects in the area. The Kinsmen Club remains part of Kin Canada, a national service organization that has raised more than $1 billion for Canadian communities since 1920.
