The 26th Annual Rotary Club of Summerside Charity Golf Tournament has sold out weeks ahead of its September 16, 2026 date at Mill River Resort & Golf Club.
The tournament benefits the Prince County Hospital Foundation and has raised over $300,000 for medical equipment since it began in 2000. This year’s sell-out signals strong community support for local healthcare as the foundation runs its most ambitious appeal yet, seeking $3,233,410 for equipment including a $975,000 CT Scanner replacement.
Rotary Club of Summerside thanked everyone who registered and highlighted the 25-year partnership with title sponsor Fitzgerald & Snow, a Summerside-based company. The club, with 45 active members, has served the community for over 80 years.
The sold-out event at Mill River Resort & Golf Club reflects the tournament’s status as a local tradition, with all proceeds going to Prince County Hospital Foundation to support the 110-bed hospital serving about 50,000 residents in western PEI.
Last year’s tournament was won by Summerside Butcher Shop, who took home the Earl Cannon Trophy. Residents interested in results can follow the Rotary Club of Summerside after the event.
