Nominations are now open for the Selkirk BIZ 2026 Annual Business Awards, with the gala set for Thursday, October 22, 2026 at the Selkirk Golf & Country Club. Community members can vote online for local businesses across Selkirk, R.M. of St. Andrews, R.M. of St. Clements, R.M. of East St. Paul, and R.M. of West St. Paul.
Ten awards will be presented, including Customer Service, Community Spirit, Business of the Year, New Business of the Year, Business Philanthropist, Farm Family of the Year, Marketing/Branding, Woman Entrepreneur, Inclusive Business, and Visual Improvement. Businesses do not need to be chamber members to be nominated or to win.
The Selkirk BIZ, founded in 1901 as the Board of Trade of the Town of Selkirk, has served the region for 125 years. The awards are part of its work to support the area’s economic vitality. The organization also runs the Biz Buck$ gift card program, which has kept over $1 million circulating locally since 2018.
The awards gala at the Selkirk Golf & Country Club, located at 100 Sutherland Avenue, will celebrate the winners and highlight the contributions of local businesses. Ticket details are available by emailing [email protected].
