Sherwood Park’s annual celebration of local food, art, and music returns this weekend as Savour Strathcona County takes over the Strathcona County Community Centre and Festival Lane on Sunday, September 13, 2026, from 3 to 7 p.m.
Admission is free, and food samples from more than a dozen local restaurants and food trucks will be available for $2 to $5 each. Cash is preferred, but vendors will accept debit and credit cards.
The event brings together a curated artisan market in partnership with Gallery@501, a farmers’ market on Festival Lane with the Sherwood Park Farmers’ Market, and live music on the Luke Jansen Soundstage. Featured food vendors include Yoshi Japanese Restaurant, Manual Labour Beer Co., and Barr Estate Winery.
Alana Seymour, Economic Development Officer, Business Retention and Expansion, for Strathcona County, said the event helps residents support local entrepreneurs and artists in one place. “There’s something special about bringing together the people, businesses and creative talent that make Strathcona County such a vibrant place to live and visit,” Seymour said.
Savour has grown from its origins as the Tomato Fair, which focused only on local food, to include art, music, and agricultural vendors. The Luke Jansen Soundstage is named in memory of a 22-year-old county summer student and musician who helped grow the music component of Savour before passing away suddenly in 2017.
