The École Parkside Parent Advisory Council will meet in Altona, Manitoba, on March 19, 2026, to discuss school activities and upcoming student fundraisers. The meeting is set for 12:05 p.m. to 12:55 p.m. at the school building located at 155 5th St NW.
This lunch-hour session takes place during the final two days of the Parkside Coupon Folder Fundraiser, which runs from March 3 to March 20. These meetings provide a way for families to help decide how money is spent on student programs and to fill important volunteer roles for the rest of the school year.
The council is currently looking for at least one parent to act as a representative for every classroom. Principal Leanne Braun, who is currently in her 22nd year at the school, noted that parent input helps support the school’s house system, where students are organized into four groups: Makers, Dreamers, Growers, and Shifters.
The middle school serves students in grades 5 through 8 and is part of the Border Land School Division. All parents and guardians are invited to attend the March meeting to share their ideas on school priorities.
