The Fundy Youth Soccer Club will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on February 25, 2026, at the Amherst Police Station. The meeting, which runs from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM in the upstairs community room, is the primary planning session for the upcoming spring and summer seasons in Amherst, Nova Scotia.

Parents and coaches attending the meeting will receive updates on program costs and game schedules for Cumberland County youth. The session is open to all community members and will include a review of the 2025 implementation of the Canada Soccer Grassroots Standards for the U11 competitive divisions, as set by Soccer Nova Scotia. These standards are part of a broader pathway that includes the “Active Start” program, which introduces children as young as age three to the sport.

As a volunteer-led organization, the club will also use the meeting to confirm its board of directors and recruit volunteers for essential roles such as equipment management and registration. Elections for the leadership team will be conducted according to the club’s approved by-laws to ensure the organization is ready for the 2026-2027 term.
