Amherstburg, ON — The Amherstburg Admirals defeated the Wheatley Omstead Sharks 2-0 in Wheatley on December 18, 2025, picking up important points in the PJHL West Stobbs Division before the holiday break.
After two scoreless periods, Jackson Blair broke the deadlock with a third-period goal. Veteran forward Drew Booker added an empty-netter to seal the victory, while goaltender Landon Dimitroff earned the shutout with 39 saves and was named First Star.
Head coach Greg Gervais, reflecting on the team’s discipline in low-scoring games, said, “It shows how far we’ve come and how balanced we are. These guys know where to go when they are on the ice.”
The win moved Amherstburg into fifth place in the Stobbs Division standings.
The Admirals were set to prepare for a home-and-home series against the Blenheim Blades, beginning with their final home game of 2025 on Saturday night in Amherstburg.
