From February 26 to March 15, 2026, the Gibson Art Gallery in Amherstburg, Ontario, will host its Annual Members Exhibition, showcasing a diverse collection of work from local artists. The event serves as a central point for the community to engage with local culture during the late winter season.

The exhibition, which concludes on March 15, features artworks including painting, photography, sculpture, and textiles. It takes place at the gallery’s historic location at 140 Richmond St., a restored 1896 Michigan Central Railroad Station. The building is a designated heritage site known for its Romanesque-style architecture, including towering ceilings and beveled glass windows.

According to the Town of Amherstburg, the use of such historic sites for community programming is a key part of the town’s cultural strategy. The gallery is operated by the Fort Malden Guild of Arts and Crafts, a non-profit organization that has managed the site since the 1970s to foster local artistic development.

Visitors attending the final day of the exhibition will have the opportunity to view pieces from both emerging and established creators from across the region. The Gibson Art Gallery remains a vital hub for the visual arts in South Western Ontario, offering a variety of exhibitions and guilds throughout the year.
