The Arnprior Minor Hockey Association (AMHA) has added a concentrated slate of games on December 18, 2024, at the Nick Smith Centre in Arnprior, ON, and updated its association-wide record from 36-89-24 to 36-90-25. This mid-December change affects teams from Timbits U7 through U18 HL C and will matter to players, parents and volunteers who need to adjust travel plans and game-day duties.
The newly posted schedule on the AMHA website shows games beginning at 5:00 p.m. and running into the evening. Highlights include Timbits U7 matchups, the U9 T3 Cobras facing the Petawawa Tier 3 squad, a U13 HL B game against the Petawawa Patriots, multiple U15 contests, and an U18 HL C tilt with the Barry’s Bay Bears. (Note: the schedule uses some exhibition/away designations and includes at least one U15 HL C game away at Barry’s Bay that same night.) Full details are available on the AMHA schedule portal: https://arnpriorminorhockey.ca/Schedule/.
Along with adding the December 18 slate, the association’s overall mark on the AMHA record page now reads 36-90-25 (previously reported as 36-89-24). Note: the AMHA site header currently displays “2025-2026” (a likely CMS labeling error), while the listed games and dates correspond to the 2024-25 calendar; updated standings and team statistics can be viewed on the association’s record details page: https://arnpriorminorhockey.ca/RecordDetails/.
These changes come just ahead of Arnprior’s hosting of a IIHF World Junior Championship exhibition game — Germany vs. Kazakhstan — on December 19 at 7:00 p.m., underscoring a busy week at the Nick Smith Centre. Families and volunteers are encouraged to check the AMHA site for any further updates on game times, rink assignments and roster information before heading to the rink.
