Residents must place garbage and recycling containers at the curb by 7:30 a.m. on collection days, with items set out after 7:00 p.m. the evening before (note that downtown properties have a 9:30 a.m. curbside deadline on collection days). The Arnprior Landfill will be closed on Thursday, December 25, 2025. The landfill is normally open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; it is closed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Sundays and statutory holidays, so residents should check the landfill hours before visiting.
