Residents in Aurora will be unable to access the My Alectra online portal for nearly three days starting this week due to planned system maintenance by Alectra Utilities. The service interruption, which was rescheduled from an earlier date in April, is set to begin on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. and will conclude on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 6:00 a.m.
During this period, customers will not be able to log in to their accounts to view billing information or submit service requests online. Alectra Utilities, which provides electricity to Aurora and 16 other communities across Ontario, is undertaking this work as part of ongoing efforts to maintain its network. The utility regularly announces infrastructure investments across its service territory to help improve reliability and handle growing energy needs.
Even with the online portal offline, residents can still get help with electricity-related issues 24 hours a day. The Town of Aurora advises that those needing to report a power outage or speak with customer service should call 1-877-963-6900. Additionally, the utility provides an option to report power outages by calling 1-833-253-2872 and selecting option one, or by using their online chat feature.
