The Aurora Chamber of Commerce in Aurora, Ontario, has marked its 45th anniversary with the launch of a new “Legacy of Leadership” webpage and the release of its 2026 sponsorship and advertising opportunity packages for local businesses.
The new Legacy of Leadership page highlights long-standing “Legacy Members” who have operated in Aurora since the Chamber’s founding in 1980. It features profiles of local businesses that have grown alongside the town and honours their contributions to the community.
Alongside the anniversary portal, the Chamber has unveiled its 2026 sponsorship and advertising packages. Businesses can secure spots in the annual print directory, website banner ads, year-long e-newsletter placements and event partnerships.
Sponsorship tiers range from $250 to $1,000 under the Community Builder levels. Opportunities include high-visibility slots at signature events such as the Mayor’s Luncheon in February, the Home and Living Show in April, the Women’s Summit in May, the Street Festival in June and the Business Summit in the fall.
The 2025-2026 Chamber board is led by Chair David Olesen, with Debra Wilson — the Chamber’s Interim Executive Director and the listed contact for corporate sponsorships — and Shayla Lockhurst, Manager of Member Relations and the contact for Community Builder sponsorship packages. Executive Director Alison Mumford is currently on maternity leave and is scheduled to return in January 2026. Local businesses are encouraged to secure their 2026 marketing plans early.
