The Aurora Cultural Centre in Aurora, Ontario, will present two family performances of Fireside Munsch on Saturday, March 21, 2026, with shows at 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at Brevik Hall in Aurora Town Square. This addition to the Centre’s “Up Close & Joyful” family series gives parents and caregivers exact dates and times to plan for one of Canada’s best-loved children’s storytellers.
Performed by M. John Kennedy, Fireside Munsch Classics brings Robert Munsch’s stories to life with physical comedy, silly surprises and lively characters. Audiences can expect favourites like 50 Below Zero, PIGS, Something Good and The Paper Bag Princess in a high-energy, solo-actor show.
Tickets are available through the Aurora Town Square box office, which uses a reserved-seating (select-your-seat) model so families can choose seats together. The Centre’s Family 4-Pack deal lets groups of four buy three tickets and get one free, and all attendees—caregivers and children—must have their own ticket.
This spring lineup marks the Aurora Cultural Centre’s first full family season back in its permanent space after several years using temporary venues during the Town Square construction. With the new Aurora Town Square complex fully open, parents are encouraged to book early to secure seats for this popular mid-March family performance.
