York Regional Police are asking for help from the public to find a man linked to a large-scale drug and weapons investigation in Aurora, Ontario. On February 13, 2026, police identified 27-year-old Christopher Morgan of Toronto as a new suspect in an ongoing case called Project Chatter.

A warrant has been issued for Morgan for charges involving the trafficking of fentanyl and illegal firearms. The York Regional Police Guns, Gangs, and Drug Enforcement Unit is leading the search for the suspect.

While a warrant is out for his arrest, police say there is no immediate threat to public safety. They are asking residents in Aurora and the surrounding areas to keep an eye out and report any suspicious activity to the police.

The broader investigation has already resulted in the seizure of more than $8 million worth of fentanyl. This is equal to about 814,100 doses of the drug being taken out of the community.
