The Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity has added Joachim Trier’s award‑winning film Sentimental Value to its Reel Time film series, scheduling a public screening at Lux Cinema Banff on January 12, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $14 each.
Sentimental Value won the Grand Prix at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival and was a highlight at TIFF 2025. This addition continues the Reel Time tradition of bringing independent and international cinema from the TIFF Film Circuit to Bow Valley audiences; the series has brought alternative cinema to the Bow Valley for over fifteen years.
