Banff Community High School in Banff, Alberta, will host its March Madness Week from March 23 to March 27, 2026. This schoolwide spirit event is designed to build student pride through themed activities and special events held right before the annual spring break.
On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, the school will hold an all-day Iron Chef cooking competition in its professional-grade kitchen. This facility was updated in 2023 with help from the Pauw Foundation to meet industry standards. That same day, the school will also host the Canadian Rockies Public Schools hiring fair to connect students with summer job opportunities in the Bow Valley.
The week is built around the school’s core values, which include belonging, excellence, accountability, respect, and safety. The festivities will end on Friday, March 27, 2026, with a special awards assembly to recognize student spirit and participation.
