Bow Valley Non-Profits has posted dates and venues for its 2026 summit: an evening program on April 27 at artsPlace Canmore and a day program on April 28 at the Banff Rocky Mountain Resort. The announcement on the Bow Valley Non-Profits website serves as a planning notice for local charities, funders and municipal partners to reserve the dates and consider session proposals and collaborations.

The BVNP homepage states: “The 2026 Bow Valley Non-Profits Summit is scheduled for April 27-28 in Canmore and Banff. There will be an evening program on the 27th at ArtsPlace Canmore and a day program on the 28th at Rocky Mountain Resort in Banff. More details in 2026.”

BVNP was created with seed funding from the Town of Canmore and is supported by the Town of Banff as a local hub for charities, volunteer groups and community service providers. The organization has run speaker series, collectives and an in-person summit in November 2024 that the event materials expected would attract about 70–80 attendees. That 2024 program used the same two-part format (evening in Canmore, daytime workshops in Banff) and included municipal and philanthropic partners.

Past BVNP materials and local coverage list the Wim & Nancy Pauw Foundation and the Banff Canmore Foundation among event supporters. Both foundations have made notable local investments in recent years and have previously supported BVNP-related activity.

Organizers and municipal partners are signaling the dates now to give nonprofits and funders time to plan proposals, reserve travel and coordinate joint sessions. The 2024 attendee packet and BVNP’s blog illustrate how past summits involved local organizations and funders in programming, and the homepage announcement functions as a similar advance planning notice for spring 2026.

Nonprofits seeking more details or to propose sessions can contact the municipal coordinators listed in BVNP event materials: Jessica LaBonte — jessica.labonte@banff.ca (Town of Banff) and Laura Wellmann — laura.wellmann@canmore.ca (Town of Canmore).

More details about 2026 programming, proposal deadlines and confirmed sponsors should be obtained directly from Bow Valley Non-Profits or the municipal contacts listed above before publication of any claim about specific funder involvement or finalized session lineups.
