The Banff Hospitality Collective (BHC) has opened a private karaoke room at The Dusty Boot Saloon & Dance Hall in Banff, Alberta. The Dusty Boot opened in January 2026 (media coverage and the venue’s promotional pages appeared in late January 2026). The new private rooms are intended to provide bookable group entertainment for visitors to the Bear Street area and to help draw evening foot traffic to the pedestrian-friendly street.

The venue offers multiple private karaoke rooms with capacities that range from small (an ~8-person private room) up to a larger parlour listed for about 30 seated (40 standing). The rooms include karaoke/AV equipment — the venue’s AV notes list a wireless microphone and a speaker system with AUX connectivity for guests — and are designed for group use. Media coverage describes The Dusty Boot as a Western-themed saloon with a large dance floor and live music, and SkiBig3 referred to the venue’s private karaoke ‘singing sheds’ in its winter 2025–26 roundup.

The Dusty Boot was included among the new and notable entertainment options highlighted for the 2025–26 winter season. Banff Hospitality Collective and nearby Bear Street businesses say the addition is intended to encourage visitors to stay in the Bear Street precinct after dinner; observers note this follows a broader local trend of activity-based hospitality (for example, bowling at High Rollers and karaoke at Hello Sunshine) that aims to keep people downtown longer.

Residents and organizations seeking to host parties can find booking information on The Dusty Boot event page. Note that private rooms and packages are offered through the venue’s events system and may be subject to minimum spends, deposits and other booking terms listed on the corporate events page.
