The City of Bathurst, New Brunswick, is accepting applications for a Human Resources Officer. The posting was opened on January 25, 2026, and is part of the city’s ongoing administrative modernization and efforts to strengthen administrative support for local services.

The successful candidate will be based at Bathurst City Hall (150 St. George Street) and will support human-resources programs such as recruitment and onboarding, advising management and employees on HR matters, interpreting and administering collective agreements, and working with several union locals and staff groups. The role will also assist with implementation of the city’s corporate salary strategy, which ties wage adjustments to the provincial Consumer Price Index. Fluency in both English and French is required.

Interested applicants may apply by emailing a resume to jobs@bathurst.ca or in person at City Hall. This recruitment follows the city’s March 2024 ratification of a collective agreement with police officers and dispatchers.
