The Beaumont Music Festival will return to the Beaumont and District Agriculture Society fairgrounds for its 2026 event in Beaumont, Alberta. Organizers announced the festival is set for June 19-20, 2026, marking a move back to the site where the event first began in 2008. This change is intended to provide more room for attendees and help the event grow over the long term.
The move to the fairgrounds allows the festival to offer on-site camping and dedicated parking for the first time in several years. The shift also provides an expanded outdoor area, which organizers say is necessary for the festival to thrive. The event was previously held at Four Seasons Park and was known as the Beaumont Blues and Roots Festival before its recent rebranding.
A new policy for the 2026 season aims to make the weekend more accessible for families by allowing children aged 12 and under to attend for free when joined by a paying adult. This initiative is part of an effort to attract more local residents to the 19th annual celebration. The festival continues its tradition of showcasing Canadian talent, with the band Big Sugar set to headline the main stage on June 20, 2026.
Festival director Jeremy Kornel noted that returning to the fairgrounds is a way to get back to the event’s roots while gaining access to more land. The extra space is expected to improve the overall experience for visitors by reducing crowding and simplifying logistics. Information about tickets and camping spots is available through Showpass.
