The Beaumont RCMP responded to 53 calls for service between January 12 and January 18, 2026, in Beaumont, Alberta, according to the City of Beaumont’s weekly “Week in Review” posted on its Civic Alerts page.

The number is slightly lower than the same period in 2025, when police responded to 57 calls. According to the weekly summaries, officers handled incidents including traffic stops, wellbeing checks and property-related concerns.

The city posts these weekly summaries on its Civic Alerts page to increase transparency about local policing and to help residents understand the difference between routine police activity and serious emergencies.

Officials also encourage residents to use the Alberta Emergency Alert system and the City’s Civic Alerts for real-time safety notifications. These notification tools aim to keep Beaumont’s growing population — estimated at about 26,300 people in 2025 — connected to official public-safety information.
