The Beaumont Blitz Fastball Association began its winter training season in Beaumont, Alberta, on February 18, 2026, to help local youth players build skills before the spring season. These weekly sessions are designed for female athletes between the ages of 5 and 19 to practice pitching and general game mechanics.

The training program includes specialized pitching clinics starting on February 18 and 19, followed by multi-skill development camps on February 21. All sessions are held at the fieldhouse within the Beaumont Sport and Recreation Centre to provide players with a consistent place to practice indoors.

Families interested in the sport can attend a free event called Come Try Softball on March 1, 2026. This session runs from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the recreation centre and is open to all ages to encourage more residents to join the local league.

The association is also accepting sign-ups for its regular spring league, which features about 10 different teams. Parents have until March 31, 2026, to complete player registration through the Beaumont Blitz Fastball Association website.

According to the Beaumont Blitz Fastball Association, the group focuses on teaching fair play and healthy lifestyles to young athletes. These winter sessions help organizers look at player skill levels to make sure everyone is placed on the right team for the upcoming year.
