The Black Gold School Division has named Luke Stevenson as the principal for its 2026 summer school program. Stevenson will lead the academic sessions, which serve students from Grade 3 through Grade 12 in Beaumont and across the school division.

Stevenson is an experienced educator who has worked in the school division for 10 years and has 14 years of total experience in education. He currently serves as the principal of Warburg School and previously spent seven years working in various roles within the division’s Outreach School program.

The new principal is taking over the role from Dan Lake. The two will work together during a transition period to make sure the program continues to run smoothly for local families.

Registration for the 2026 summer school program opens on April 24, 2026. These sessions provide academic support and alternative learning paths for students during their summer break.
