The Tyndall Curling Club will host its annual Men’s Bonspiel starting Friday, January 23, 2026, bringing teams and spectators to the local community of Tyndall (LUD of Tyndall–Garson), Manitoba. This regional curling tournament is an important social and fundraising event for the volunteer-run rink located roughly 10 minutes (about 13 km) west of Beausejour.
The competition is one of the club’s three main events and usually draws teams from across the Beausejour–Brokenhead area and the surrounding Eastman region. Local curlers and visitors typically fill the ice and the licensed lounge over the course of the weekend.
Residents living near Second Street and Church Street should expect more traffic and street parking while the event is running. The club has limited on-site parking, so many people traditionally park along nearby residential roads and adjacent to the Tyndall Village Community Centre.
According to the RM of Brokenhead, these annual bonspiels help support ice maintenance and community programming at the volunteer-run facility. Interested teams can sign up by contacting the club directly (tyndallcurlingclub@gmail.com or phone 204-268-1552), via the club’s Facebook page, or by checking the Beausejour–Brokenhead venue listing.
This January event takes place during the busiest part of the provincial curling season; CurlManitoba serves as the provincial governing/calendar body referenced for regional competition. The club is a central hub for the community and hosts several leagues — including men’s, ladies’, and mixed leagues — throughout the winter.
