The Town of Bracebridge, Ontario, is hosting a public Open House this weekend at 393 Manitoba Street (the Granite Springs community clubhouse). The meeting gives residents a chance to preview plans for the upcoming Fire & Ice Festival and learn how they can help with the celebration.
Visitors can enjoy free coffee and hot chocolate while looking at the list of activities for the festival, which takes place on Saturday, January 31, 2026. This year’s celebration will convert Manitoba Street into a multi-lane snow tubing hill created with more than 50 truckloads of snow.
Organizers are still looking to fill more than 100 volunteer shifts for the event. Those who sign up through the volunteer registration portal will receive free event admission, a tube-run fast pass to skip the line, a hot lunch and a Fire and Ice toque.
The Open House is being held at the Granite Springs community clubhouse at 393 Manitoba St. The site has on-site parking and is noted as stroller-accessible.
Local business owners are also encouraged to attend to get final details on vendor locations for the event, which is expected to draw more than 15,000 visitors. The festival, launched in 2016, has become a major winter tradition and an important driver of off-season tourism for the community.
