The Rotary Club of Bracebridge is bringing in experts from the Ontario Bar Association this April 2026 to explain how the legal system protects residents in Bracebridge, Ontario. The upcoming presentation will focus on the rule of law, which is the principle that ensures laws are applied fairly to everyone in the community.

The talk is part of the club’s regular lunch series and is meant to help people understand how rights and government accountability work in their daily lives. While the specific date in April is still being finalized, these meetings usually happen on Fridays starting at 12:15 p.m. at the Rotary Centre for Youth.

Attendees will have the chance to hear from the provincial legal group, which is currently led by President Katy Commisso. The session will take place at the Rotary Centre for Youth at 131 Wellington Street.

This event lines up with a wider focus on legal education for Law Day 2026, which is celebrated in Canada on April 17. The goal of the meeting is to provide direct information to community members so they can better understand local governance and their own legal rights.
