Theatre Muskoka has announced a new series of live music performances called Summer Cabaret Nights, which will run from June 5 to June 7, 2026, at the Rene M. Caisse Memorial Theatre (100 Clearbrook Trail) in Bracebridge, Ontario. The event will showcase local vocalists in an intimate musical-revue (cabaret) format, performing Broadway/show tunes, jazz standards and contemporary pop. These shows are intended to provide a casual entertainment option for residents and early-season visitors during the late-spring period.

Tickets are expected to cost $30.00 for adults and $25.00 for students and seniors. Evening shows are scheduled to start at 7:30 PM on Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6; the Sunday, June 7 performance will be a matinee with the exact time to be announced (likely 2:00 PM).

While the Rene M. Caisse Memorial Theatre is a proscenium-style house with fixed seating, the Cabaret Nights may utilize the first few rows for “VIP Table” experiences or stage-level seating to create a club atmosphere. The snack bar will be open, and Theatre Muskoka has sought a one-time liquor licence to serve beer and wine in the venue — this is pending municipal approval from the Town of Bracebridge.

Local artists who wish to participate are typically selected through open community auditions held in late March or early April. The series follows the theatre’s recent winter production of The Wizard of Oz and is part of Theatre Muskoka’s plan to increase locally produced shows and year-round programming in the community.
