The Keystone Centre in Brandon, Manitoba, will host a four-day horse show from February 12 to February 15, 2026. The event brings together riders from across the Prairies to compete in a variety of western-style riding categories.

The Brandon Western Riders are organizing the competition, which includes events like reining and western pleasure riding. These activities take place inside the climate-controlled Westoba Agricultural Centre of Excellence, which allows the horses and riders to stay warm while competing on indoor dirt arenas.

Local businesses, including hotels and restaurants along the 18th Street area, often see more customers when these regional shows come to town. The event also serves as a gathering place for local families and youth who are involved in the horse community to practice their skills during the winter months.

The Keystone Centre is a major hub for agriculture in the region, hosting many events that support the local economy. According to the Manitoba Horse Council, these types of shows are important for keeping the equestrian sport growing and providing opportunities for riders of all levels to participate.
