The Keystone Centre in Brandon, Manitoba, is listing the Shallako Farms Fun Weekend as a mid‑February, family‑focused agricultural festival in 2026. The multi‑day event (scheduled for Feb. 12–15, 2026) is organized by Shallako Farms in conjunction with the Keystone Centre and is intended to bring families together for agricultural demonstrations and livestock displays in the lead‑up to Louis Riel Day.

Activities are planned for the Indoor Show Ring at the Keystone Centre — a specialized dirt‑floor arena commonly used for equestrian and livestock events. The festival will use the venue’s agricultural facilities (the Westoba Agricultural Centre of Excellence), a climate‑controlled indoor space that allows children and parents to see farm animals and participate in programming without exposure to winter weather.

The Shallako Farms Fun Weekend is part of a broader push to make Brandon a busier destination during colder months. Brandon Tourism and other local stakeholders note that the Keystone Centre is a major regional hub, and mid‑February attractions can help fill hotel rooms and support local shops and restaurants during the provincial holiday period.

Visitors should be aware that the Keystone Centre will be especially busy that weekend: the Brandon Wheat Kings have a home game on Feb. 13, 2026 (Brandon Wheat Kings vs. Prince Albert Raiders at the Assiniboine Credit Union Place), which can increase demand for parking and nearby dining.
