At Conestoga College’s Brantford campus, Winter 2026 Orientation runs January 5–12, 2026, followed by Discover Conestoga events January 14–28, 2026. These sessions help incoming and returning students complete registrations, pick up ID cards, and learn about campus services before the winter semester.
Students must log in to the Student Success Portal to access a personalized checklist and register for program-specific sessions. Orientation Week includes mandatory online program sessions and in-person activities such as campus tours; Brantford students can pick up their ONE Card at the Laurier Brantford Hawk Shop (150 Dalhousie St.) as instructed on Conestoga’s ONE Card page.
From January 14–28, Discover Conestoga offers info fairs, social meet-ups and drop-in workshops to help students explore campus services and connect with peers. Many events are held in person at the Brantford campus (with offerings varying by program), and a number of virtual options are listed on the orientation calendar.
Full-time registered Brantford campus students receive a U-Pass for unlimited rides on Brantford Transit for the term(s) in which the fee is charged; the pass is accessed through the BT Connect mobile app. Parking permits for the Colborne Street lots can be purchased via the HonkMobile app or the college’s online parking portal.
Students needing academic accommodations should complete the Accessible Learning intake form (via the Accommodate portal) as early as possible; returning student support appointments are available from Dec. 12, 2025 through Jan. 23, 2026. Orientation staff will clarify whether a Conestoga ONE Card or a Laurier ONE Card is required for transit, library access and campus facilities — note that Brantford students typically receive a Laurier ONE Card for Brantford campus services while U-Pass access is provided via BT Connect, but students should confirm the exact arrangements during their mandatory program session.
