Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant has released its winter lineup for the Coach House Stage, featuring indie-folk and comedy shows from January through mid-February. The series kicks off with Hamilton-born musician Neil Haverty joined by Tim Turvey on Saturday, January 24, 2026, with doors at 7:30 p.m. and music starting at 8:00 p.m. and continues with the comedy production Awkward Encounters of the Comedy Kind on Feb. 13 (8 p.m.), Feb. 14 (8 p.m.) and Feb. 15 (2 p.m. and 8 p.m.).

These performances are part of the volunteer-run Coach House Concerts, a series that presents intimate acoustic shows roughly every other month in the historic Coach House on the gallery’s 16-acre estate. The Coach House Stage, housed in a renovated carriage house, has a reported seating capacity of approximately 55 for most events (Glenhyrst’s venue information also notes space for up to 75 chairs), offering an up-close experience for both local and touring artists.

Tickets are available through the Glenhyrst Art Gallery website; Glenhyrst retains a 10% fee on ticket revenue as part of its venue-use policy. Recent single-show prices listed on the gallery site are $20 and $30, so check the specific event page for exact pricing and seating details.

Following the busy holiday season at Glenhyrst’s annual light display, the Coach House performances aim to keep Brantford’s arts scene active during the quieter winter months. Organizers say the low-overhead model — where the gallery takes only a small cut of ticket revenue — helps artists retain the majority of earnings while offering affordable cultural experiences to the community.
